My career journey has provided me the opportunity to become a seasoned Marketing & Communications professional with proven experience in: business strategy, communications, message branding, social media, and digital marketing across several large corporations in the Hampton Roads area.
In 2013, I left the corporate sector after experiencing severe burnout, deciding to refocus my efforts on lending my expertise to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and local nonprofit organizations. Thus began my journey into working in service of others.
Along this journey I have been able to connect with amazing individuals and organizations locally noticing a commonality. Everyone had their own "mountain story" representing the challenges they had to overcome, whether business or personal, that has led them to where they are today.
Each encounter left a profound impact directing me toward my path a as Coach, Consultant, and Champion for Causes.
As part of my ongoing education, I am currently a Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Old Dominion University with an emphasis on Lifespan Communication. I will also minor in Psychology. Post-graduation I anticipate taking going full-time with my coaching and consulting business, ARISE Coaching and Consulting.
